Born in Venezuela and now based in Mexico City, Ed Vill is an innovative illustrator and designer whose work is influenced by the advertising aesthetics of the 1950s and ’60s, as well as the commercial illustration style of the Mid-Century era.

Characterized by bold, free-flowing, and irregular strokes filled with vibrant colors, his art captures the exaggerated energy of rock and pop culture.

A self-taught artist and devoted practitioner of the Do-It-Yourself philosophy, Ed creates his projects by hand, using technology only to adapt his artwork for digital and promotional formats.
