Mercado Negro Comics

Octavio was born in Mexico City and has been working as a comic artist, illustrator, infographic designer, and scientific illustrator since 2000. He considers himself a worker for art and culture.

Under his secret identity, he designs, illustrates, and self-publishes titles such as “Mercado Negro Comics”, “Nuestros derechos serán justicia”, “Historias de autodefensas”, and “Historia de México X”.

He has also created a series of illustrations called “Mercado Negro Colores”, inspired by Mexico’s rich cultural abundance.

Currently, he lives, works, and cares for a small garden in Iztapalapa, Mexico City.
