Kia Asamiya

Born in 1963 in Iwate Prefecture, he made his debut as a mangaka in 1986 with ""Shinseiki Vagrants.""

In 1988, he commenced the serialization of ""Silent Möbius."" Through his unique style, he pioneered a new genre and has consistently pushed the boundaries of his work over the years.

His influence extends beyond Japan; he has collaborated with Marvel Comics and DC Comics in the United States, producing notable works like ""Uncanny X-Men"" and ""BATMAN/Child of Dreams,"" both of which have garnered him international recognition.

Moreover, his diverse talents have enabled him to delve into various fields, including live-action films, special effects, original anime illustrations, storyboards, character design, and music composition and production, among others.
